ダニエル・ラッセル国務次官補（東アジア・太平洋担当）が、在日米国商工会議所リーダーと東京で面談し、日米間における経済・貿易における様々な問題や動向における最新情報を聴収しました。このミーティングに、弊社社長キラン・セティも参加しました。 ラッセル氏は、国務次官補就任前、ホワイトハウスで大統領特別補佐官および国家安全保障会議アジア上級部長を務められました。国家安全保障会議に加わる前には国務省日本部長を務め、駐大阪・神戸米国総領事在職時には、キランが関西の代表を務める在日米国商工会議所関西支部の様々な取り組みに対し、惜しみない支援をくださいました。

Kiran Sethi reunited with Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Mr. Daniel Russel during his meeting with leaders of the ACCJ to hear updates regarding a variety of issues and trends related to US-Japan trade and economic issues. Mr. Russel, who previously served at the White House as Special Assistant to? the President and National Security Staff Senior Director for Asian Affairs, is known as an expert on East Asian affairs.As a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, his past assignment includes the U.S. Consul General in Osaka-Kobe, Japan, where he generously supported the various efforts of the ACCJ's Kansai Chapter, which Kiran Sethi is currently heading.
