Kiran Sethi meets with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Japan and his associates in Kobe over Kikusui Kobe Beef Steak House at U.S. Ambassador John Roos attended the annual Hiroshima ceremony to commemorate the atomic bombing of the city 65 years ago, the first American representative to do so. Roos, the top U.S. diplomat in Japan, was joined by Ban Ki- Moon, the first UN Secretary-General to attend the event. The U.K. and France also sent envoys to Hiroshima for the first time.
After the visit to Hiroshima, Roos visited Kobe and the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Museum with Hyogo Prefectural Governor Ido. The day was wrapped by a visit to one of the most popular Kobe Steak House Kikusui in Kobe with a local ethnic Indian American businessman and executive of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan’s Kansai chapter and discussed their ACCJ’s One Kansai initiative.
