去る2007年4月18日、ＡＣＣＪ副会頭で関西支部長のマイケ ル・ボブロブ氏（日本メドラッド株式会社 代表取締役社長）と共にＡＣＣＪ関西支部コミュニティーサービス委員会委員長キラン・セティ氏は関純一大阪市長と会談を行った。会談では今年10月20日 （土）大阪城公園で行われる2007ウォーカソン～チャリティウォーク＆フェスティバル～の計画を説明し支援を求めた。

ウォーカソンは今年初めて大阪で行われるのだが、ボブロブ氏とキラン氏は市長のバックアップがあれば大阪に拠点を構える会社の賛同を得られると自身を持っている。また、来年は神戸で開催される予定である。

ACCJ Vice President and Kansai Chapter Head, Michael Bobrove, along with ACCJ Kansai Community Service Committee Chair, Kiran Sethi, met with the mayor of Osaka, Junichi Seki, and his advisors at Osaka City Hall in a closed meeting to garner support for the 2007 Walk-A-Thon ~ Charity Walk & Festival~ to be held at Osaka Castle on Saturday, October 20.

With the Walk-A-Thon making its first appearance in Osaka, Mr. Bobrove and Sethi are confident that Osaka-based corporations will come out in full support of the event with the backing of the mayor’s office.
